Busyness after Chinese New Year:NJZ Heavy Industry usher in a high-end chemical tanker steel cutting

At 11:18 a.m on February 15, 2025, accompanied by the sound of firecrackers, the steel cutting of the second one (Hull No. NJZ1132) of four 25900DWT stainless steel chemical tankers constructed by NJZ for Singapore owner Mac Shipping Pte Ltd was successfully carried out in Jiangxi New Jiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., LTD.

The 25900DWT series stainless steel chemical tanker started steel cutting this time is the main product rolled out by the comprehensive market demand of New Jiangzhou Shipbuilding Industry. This series of vessels, with a total length of 158.98 meters, a width of 27 meters, a design draft of 9.5 meters, a speed of 14 knots, driven by a power of 5010KW low-speed diesel engine, using a fixed propeller propulsion system.  
The 25900DWT series stainless steel chemical tanker is the largest high-end stainless steel chemical tanker project undertaken by Jiangxi Province. The smoothly steel cutting of the second vessel, on the one hand, symbolize that MAC's deep recognition of NJZ production capacity recovery and product quality, on the other hand, it is also a vivid foothold of NJZ staff's concerted efforts to forge ahead. NJZ will continue to uphold the corporate values of "inheritance and innovation, integrity, pragmatic and efficient, development and sharing", constantly improve technical strength and management level, ensure the integration of design, production and management, focus on the lean production construction and quality control of each process in the construction process, and create green high-quality vessels with exquisite craftsmanship and excellent quality for customers.

The ship was designed and built in strict accordance with the specifications of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), classified by ABS. Double hull, double bottom design, and a fully continuous freeboard deck, including forecastle, poop with deckhouse, square stern, suspended rudder and ball bow structural forms. The ship has been designed with environmental protection and energy saving in mind and is equipped with advanced energy saving devices to meet the requirements of EEDI (Energy Efficiency Design Index) Stage 3. The vessel is suitable for carrying refined oil products, bulk vegetable oils and IMO Class II and III chemicals, with a maximum cargo density of 2.0t/m3, fully meeting the needs of Singapore MAC Shipping Pte LTD for a diversified, efficient and safe vessel.
